Running this in Foundry
The whole adventure imports into Foundry VTT with the Graft module: every page becomes a journal entry, and the scenes, actors, items, macros and playlists are built in your world.
This adventure is free. Journals, maps, tokens, and portraits come with the adventure. The only exception is ambience and music, so if you want the soundscape to import with the rest of the adventure, two things are needed:
- Moulinette, a Foundry module and asset service. You must have the Foundry Module and be a Patreon supporter ($2/month tier is sufficient).
- Michael Ghelfi Studios access. Ten of the ambience and music tracks are Michael Ghelfi's, and they are the reason these scenes feel like places! School of Magic Refectory under the Great Hall, Medieval Village Marketplace around the bank, Unsettling Underdark Cave beneath the platform. His catalogue is on Patreon, and the $7 a month tier covers everything this adventure needs.
Import it with Import grafts on Graft's settings tab. The link inside it expires in two hours; download it again for newer content.
How to Import This Adventure
- Subscribe, if you want the audio: Moulinette and Michael Ghelfi Studios. Skip this to run the adventure without ambience.
- Install the modules in Foundry: Graft, and for the audio Moulinette and Graft: Moulinette.
- Open a D&D 5e world and enable them under Manage Modules.
- Link Moulinette to your Patreon, if you want the audio. Click the user icon in the Moulinette toolbar on the left of the canvas and sign in with Patreon. The account window should then list Michael Ghelfi among your pledges. This is per world, so a new world starts unlinked. Do it before importing, or every track is reported as not placed.
- Sign in to this site as DM, with the password
password. Without this the file you download holds only the player-facing pages, and the import will look like it worked. - Download the file from the box above. It is your own copy, and the link inside it expires after two hours.
- Import it. In Foundry, open the Settings tab, click Import grafts, and load the file.
The first import takes a few minutes: it downloads every map, token and portrait, and fetches the ambience from your Moulinette library. The report at the end lists anything that did not arrive, and Copy report puts it on your clipboard. To pick up changes to the adventure later, download the file again and import it again: it updates what it built the first time.
